Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Report To: Regional Manager

 

About the Role:

As a Business Development Executive at our globally recognized UK Property Investment Company, headquartered in Kuala Lumpur, you'll embark on an exhilarating journey to sculpt and implement innovative brand and marketing strategies across Southeast Asia and the Middle East. Your mission? To spearhead impactful marketing campaigns that not only generate leads but also amplify our brand presence, all while harmonizing with our overarching Marketing & Communication ethos.

 

Your Adventure Awaits: Key Responsibilities

  • Forge paths to potential clients using cutting-edge tools like LinkedIn and data mining.
  • Cultivate lasting relationships, setting the stage for face-to-face or virtual meetings with our sales maestros.
  • Be the catalyst for client attendance at our buzzing regional networking events.
  • Nurture existing client bonds, ensuring unparalleled satisfaction.
  • Dive into market research, uncovering fresh opportunities and growth avenues.
  • Craft and execute sales and marketing blueprints to skyrocket revenue.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally – think Events, Seminars, Webinars – to hit those business targets.

 

The Interview Process

  1.  Prospective applicant submits CV
  2.  First interview with Frank Furness on Zoom
  3.  CV and interview analysed
  4.  If positive,  information submitted to Regional Manager and CEO
  5.  Second interview with Regional Manager
  6.  If positive, reference checks carried out
  7.  If positive, contracts signed, relocation arranged & attendance of training course

 

The Ideal Candidate

 

  • A Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 2 years in the sales or business development arena. Fresh graduates with a zest for success are also welcome.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Stellar communication and presentation skills.
  • Unyielding persistence and tenacity.
  • Ready to go the extra mile – literally, as travel within Southeast Asia and beyond is on the cards.
  • Record of achievement (work/sport/academic)
